Vous êtes chez Serge Teyssot-Gay, guitariste et compositeur. Un temps guitariste « de rock », j’explore depuis longtemps d’autres musiques et champs artistiques. Pendant et depuis Noir Désir (co-fondé en 1980 et disparu en 2003), je travaille avec des musiciens d’horizons divers, et des cinéastes, peintres, chorégraphes, danseurs et danseuses, peintres, auteurs et autrices, en duo/trio/quartets/big bands, ou en solo.
Je cherche,
Parfois je trouve.
Et je cultive avec passion l’indépendance, en ayant fui ce qui devient « l’industrie » de la musique et ses « produits ».

A long time rock’n roll guitar pro, I always aspired to breaking new musical frontiers. During and since my time with Noir Désir (band co-founded in the 80’s ending in 2003), I never stopped playing with musicians from a wide variety of backgrounds, from all around the world, as well as film-makers, painters, choreographers, dancers, painters, authors, in duos/trios/quartets/big bands/ or solo.
An endless quest which has sometimes granted me with an answer.
My moto is independence, having fled what has become the music « industry » and its « products ».
